Especially using Abelton instead of more optimized Mac specific software like Logic, using apple stuff with Apple ID usually super optimized. They’d all say the same thing, you’re rolling the dice. I’m coming from a media background, working in film in LA, 90% of my friends are in music, a few signed. Not having a fan is going to limit how much you can push your computer, the lower amount of ram will limit how many tracks/stems you can have at once before any system slowdowns, etc. I mean seriously not trying to be negative at all, I would’ve never gotten a MacBook Air for music production, even the M1.
